The Olympic Torch is coming through Salmo on Saturday,
January 23, 2010. The Village of Salmo has planned a full
day and night of celebration. The celebration prior to the
Torch arriving will be held uptown. Any business or
organization in Salmo is invited to add to the celebration.
If anyone is interested in either making a business or
fundraising opportunity out of this celebration, please come
to the Village of Salmo and pick up the Torch Celebration
Form. All ideas must be submitted
to the Village Office.
Tentative Schedule of Events
11 am – 3 pm

A portion of 4th Street will be closed off

Dog sledding
on old Railway Bed

Sleigh rides around town with
Clydesdale
Horse

Marty Carter performing
at the Rec Centre

A sledding hill for kids

Snow sculpture contest depending on snow conditions
